so you think you can dance results july 9 2009

On the July 9,2009 “So You Think You Can Dance” elimination show,the contestants started of with a performance to a song called “Seven Nation Army” choreographed by Tabitha & Napoleon.The song had a really nice beat too. They talked about how this is the last week that the judges have a final say on the results because after this week they’re down to the final 10 contestants.

Then they got right to business, reviewing the couples performances. Jason Glover & Caitlin Kinney were the first to be revealed to be in the bottom three before the first break.

After the first break, they got right back to the results with the next set of couples. Phillip Chbeeb & Jeanine Mason were the second couple revealed to be in the bottom three leading into the 2nd break.

After the 2nd break, they reviewed the next set of couples. Ade Obayomi & Melissa Sandvig were surprisingly revealed as the last couple in the bottom three for the first time. After that, they showed more footage from the season 6 “So You Think You Can Dance” auditions that will be premier for the fall edition. That lead them into the 3rd break.

After the 3rd break, four of the six dancers performed their solos for their lives to lead into the 4th break. When they got back from the 4th break, the last two contestants performed their solos for their lives. Then Kelly Rowland performed her hit song, “When Love Takes Over” to lead into the final break.

After they came back from the final break, Nigel said they were unanimous when it came to a decision for the girls this time. Caitlin Kinney was chosen to go home this week for the girls. Nigel said they were also unanimous with their decision for the guys this week. Phillip Chbeeb was sent home this week. However, Nigel said that both him and Caitlin would be able to join them on the “So You Think You Can Dance” tour.

So there you have it : Ade Obayomi, Jeanine Mason,Melissa Sandvig, Evan Kasprzak, Jason Glover, Kayla Radomski, Randi Evans,Kupono Aweau,Brandon Bryant, and Janette Manrara are your top ten dancers this year. Congrats to all of them.
